About Kristina

Krissy Pavlov (known professionally as Kristina Pavlov-Leiching) was born and raised in the Hudson Valley. Her mother and sister were prolific painters, so she was deeply immersed in art from a young age.

She received a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College, holding degrees in Fine Arts (with a focus in painting), Art History, and Mathematics. After undergraduate school, she moved to Manhattan, where she continued painting and began graduate school at Hunter College for Art History. Afterward, she transferred to Skidmore College where she received a Master's degree in 19th-century Russian art history and politics while honing her oil painting skills.

Continually inspired by her life and adventures, from family vacations to weekend farmers' market outings, her paintings reflect the artistic lens that colors her life perspective.

Krissy resides in Rosendale, New York, with her husband and three children.
